NAHC Nature Assisted Health Care Holding AB

Closely linked to a world-leading research group within the field of nature assisted health care, mainly located at SLU, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, the Swedish based company NAHC® develops and provides scientifically derived and carefully implemented rehabilitation techniques for individuals suffering from a number of different diseases.

Nature assisted therapy is defined as interventions that aim to treat, hasten recovery, and/or rehabilitate patients with a disease or a condition of ill health, based on the fundamental principle that the therapy involves plants, natural materials, and/or the outdoor environment.

Currently the company’s main focus is on launching its proven method for people with burnout.

Our method is used at SLU’s rehabilitation garden which has been appointed by the County Council of Southern Sweden to serve as the referral center for rehabilitation of mild to moderat psychiatric conditions. Our ambitions are to further develop nature assisted strategies and principles for prevention and treatment for stress and life-style related disorders, but also for rehabilitation of patients with neurological, cardiological et.c. disorders. Through our company we are in a process of expanding the number of research and development projects.
